This one of a kind Unique Bells! Comes with a purpose, a mission, and a question: Do you have enough BALLS (Ovaries) to face your own Demons, let alone others? or the world's? We hope so, because we are all in this together!
We are a group of veterans and community members committed to building and creating and a place of healing for veterans that is economically and ecologically sustainable. At the heart of the project is an in-residence healing center that will be located within the San Luis Valley, ringed by the Sangre de Cristo Mountains near Saguache, Colorado. The tri-county area near Saguache is historically the poorest area of Colorado. We are seeking $10 million in funding to purchase land and build out the necessary structures to house the project.
Critical Thinkers, Inc. seeks to assist veterans with their reintegration and actively facilitate healing PTSD in a rural area blessed with an abundance of wilderness, incredible landscapes, fishing, hunting and miles of hiking trails. Our mission is to assist our veterans in their healing through the development of a sustainable community template that is replicable in any community.
The issues veterans face every day include PTSD, suicide, homelessness, addiction, divorce and a host of other issues. The problems veterans face is about so much more than reintegration, which seems to be a buzzword. There are veterans of war who literally have not slept through the night for years—decades—due to PTSD. In a recent VA study of homeless veterans (June 2017), up to 80% of homeless veterans suffer from mental health or substance abuse disorders, which led to the homelessness because the disorders were left untreated. To further complicate these serious issues, 53% of homeless veterans have disabilities. The VA does serve homeless veterans, but with an estimated 500,000 veterans homeless in a year, the VA reached approximately 20% of them. Critical Thinkers has created a plan and program to assist veterans, one that is replicable in smaller communities where we can make a big impact on both a veteran’s life and in the community.
Veterans who are accepted into the program will live at a holistic healing center for 6 to 18 months, and they will receive/participate in various evidence-based therapies. Veterans also will receive group and individual support based on a care plan.
Residents will be required to participate in hands on community support programs such as building low-income housing, assisting the elderly, leading teens in wilderness camps, equine therapy workshops, working in community greenhouses, and other community-identified projects. This type of hands on support brings veterans and civilians together to build and live in sustainable communities dedicated to preserving and protecting our planet. We consider it a pilot program for peace.
Critical Thinkers, Inc. will organize and provide training programs that employ new thought management practices that will result in decreased resource, time, and energy consumption for all relevant parties involved. (Brandon: needs more defining)
The purpose of this collaboration is to decrease the negative internal and external environmental impacts experienced by many returning soldiers, which are generated and perpetuated by the lack of support and healing that truly has a lasting impact.
Our team continues to Define, Design, Refine, and Implement our core mission, objectives, and programs.
Our approach utilizes a for-profit and a non-profit model with a dynamic governance model of equal say-equal pay. Each of the following “arms” of Critical Thinkers will contribute to our long-term success.
The outcome we will facilitate for veterans as a result of their healing process is their 1) inner understanding of how to continue to heal and stay balanced, 2) knowledge that they are capable of feeling whole again, and 3) ability to be productive and contribute to society again. We consider our program design a Pilot Program for Peace in action.

Our Impact Mission is a movement dedicated to providing veterans with a powerful voice, plan of action, and collaboration through raising awareness and participating in community events.
Join this online community where veterans and their spouses, families, and caregivers can share their stories, concerns, and struggles — and effect real change concerning issues like veteran homelessness.
Critical Thinkers Inc. is a Colorado Public Benefit Corp that is veteran’s owned and operated and has been created to serve the needs of veterans holistically, helping turn their sacrifice into gain while re-generatively serving the communities around them.
The CTI Center’s main focus at this time is R&D on what truly works for holistic healing and wellness and to create solutions that help people provide for their basic needs. One of the ways this is able to be done, is by working to create a fun and nurturing environment where solutions are created in easier to accomplish ways working together.
Critical Thinkers longer-term goals are to create a training platform that can be replicated around the country to serve Veteran’s, their families, and communities to increase and effect efficiency in meeting basic human needs throughout our country and beyond. We work through many partnerships, facilitate inter-agency agreements, do data collection and analytics, and are building technology tools, all for increasing our ability to know how to do the most good for ourselves and the world around us.
We are currently putting together events and fun fundraisers to fund a property that can serve as live-in community for veteran's with a tiny-home building cooperative and full health and wellness services, a state-of-the-art build and maintenance shop, organic growing facility, green tech and sustainable practices education, R&D, and will function as a regenerative hub for the surrounding community. The property will be placed in a community land trust and registered under the Roerich Peace Pact and will continue on for future generations to serve as a living memorial.
An Independence Day July 3, 2021 Poker Run in the San Luis Valley, Colorado will be used to raise funds for this, then we launch a Nation-wide bike ride to gain support, and then come back for a Veteran’s Healing & Learning Festival
Sept 9-11, 2021 where the property build is launched and we strive for thousands of veteran’s in teams to help build 150 tiny homes in one week to show what can happen with the power of cooperation in service to each other and our community.
Our goal is that All Veteran’s involved, partners, sponsors, and surrounding community will have positive gain through this. This will be an on-going training facility for learning to work together for holistic well-being and increase environmental security for all network members.
We Will keep at it, hope to see you too!
